ARCHIVE PROBLEMS occur mainly outside race time when Chat Admin aren't available. If a video is missing you can request a re-upload using the red button top right. There are several versions for many videos (mirrors, bottom left) - if mirror 1 (the default) doesn't work for you, try the others. There is a live chat (red button, bottom right) in the Archive where you can talk to Tiz, or if you can't get into the Archive, email tiz@tiz-cycling.io
There is currently a problem with the drop-down menus and Tiz is working on it. You can view the most recent uploads by clicking the relevant category heading, and for older races use the search function within the relevant category.
AD BLOCKER PROBLEM: If you get a message asking you to turn your adblocker off, and you don't have an adblocker or it is off, this is a known problem. Please try the following fixes: Go into your antivirus, find the "block tracking" option, and turn it OFF. If you use Windows Defender, turn off Privacy. Sometimes a VPN has an ad blocker that needs to be disabled under Settings. Please let Admin know if you find any more.
480 BACK-UP PROBLEMS The soundbar is bottom right. The adverts on this stream are from the platform owners, NOT from Tiz. Install UBLOCK ORIGIN to block them
BUFFERING (lagging) is a problem with the stream ONLY if everyone is affected. It's usually caused by the viewer's system being inadequate to display the stream: eg poor broadband and/or a computer cluttered with old files & apps not currently required. "Main" offers quality from 240 to 1080 & adjusts to available resources, disguising inadequacies in your system unless it's VERY bad. Most back-ups are single quality. Check what quality you get on Main by using the settings option. If it's less than back-up quality (480/720), that's why you are buffering on the back-ups.
If your broadband speed is poor (or the whole family are sharing your bandwidth) then that will likely be the cause. If not, then clear your cache and do a disk clean-up to get rid of unwanted garbage. Use your Task Manager (or equivalent) to see what applications are running. and how much memory/CPU (processor) they are using. Windows opens a host of applications at start-up, many of them redundant for most users (eg no printer, you don't need printer apps). Close down things you don't need for streaming, especially those that use internet, eg email & social media, and watch the effect on the amounts of memory and CPU you are using.
NO STREAM when a race is live. Refresh the stream page. If that doesn't work, make sure you are on the current version of the stream page at https://tiz-cycling-live.io/
SPOILING Site policy is to avoid posting the result and/or details of the finale of broadcast races & thus "spoiling" them for those planning to watch them recorded later. Plus if you are watching TV but chatting on Tiz, you will be well ahead of the streams. Please DO NOT spoil by saying what you see right away. If you ignore a warning not to spoil, or argue about it, you may be banned.
